This term we’ve had great fun with our Professor Layton games in class.

We could hardly believe our luck when the parcel containing the games and 10 Nintendo DS Consoles arrived from Education Scotland

Although there were only 10 consoles, we had 16 games. Some of us were able to bring in our own DS consoles from home, though, so that meant we could share ‘one between two’.

Soon after they arrived, we spent some time playing the game.

After we had played the game for a while, we had the task of describing the characters, the setting and the plot. Some of us recorded ours. Iona and Ellie‘s descriptions can be heard here – we’ll put more on soon!

 

We also came up with the idea of making board games based on Professor Layton and the Lost Future.

We’re going to make a video of us playing them in class this week. Check back soon to let us know what you think of them.

No-one has completed the game yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as that happens! Meanwhile, we’ve got some other ideas to use the game to make our learning more fun- we’ll keep you posted…
