Climate Zones

We have been working very hard on our topic recently. We are looking at the different climate zones just now.

Each group designed a picture to represent the animals and plants found in the climate zone they have been researching.

Next we used coloured tissue paper to mark off the different climate zones on a world map.

Jack was our photographer, I think you’ll agree he did a great job!

  1. Hi, I was interested in your project on climates. You might enjoy taking a look at a project that my students really enjoy called Penguin Science. http://www.penguinscience.com You can learn more about the climate in Antarctica here. Also if you go to the sites here, you can see video footage of the project. Thanks for sharing and stay warm! 🙂
Move the timeslider to 38:54 on this YouTube video to hear Dr. David Ainley’s sat call from Antarctica.
