Our Treasure Trail Box
In our class we have a point system. Every time a pupil gets 20 points, they get a reward out of our treasure box. The box was empty but thankfully lots of very kind shops and the library gave us some items for it. For example the Co-op , Spar (Aleena’s mum’s shop) Tesco and the Library gave us some great items like pencils, pens, rubbers, rulers and lots more! Also Melissa , Chloe both gave things in. The whole class are writing letters to the shops to say thank you. The library gave us books so we decided that they are worth 40 points. Most people have got to the 20 but others are still trying.
Here are some pics of it

Hello Abbie and Melissa,
In my classes in Australia, I had a similar system. We had a class shop. I would keep record of their work and what they had correct. This would give each child points they could use to buy from our class shop. We had many things as in your Treasure Trail Box as well as seasonal treats at times.
Like you, my classes loved this. Everyone had many chances to buy from the shop. For some children with little money, it allowed them to have their own coloured pencils, rulers, rubbers and sharpeners.
I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas. 🙂
