It has been absolutely beautiful weather here today! Mrs Vass, Miss Goodsir and Mrs Underhill decided that we should all go for a walk before lunch. It was so enjoyable that we are going to try to do this every Friday. We were all ready for lunch when we returned!

Next week the primary 7 pupils are going to start learning how to run the new School News Blog. The committee has been chosen …. there are photo editors, ideas teams, news editors … and more! We’ll start it ‘up and running’ on Monday and we’ll put a link to it on this blog.

Hi,
A walk sounds like a great idea, are you doing it to keep fit? How far are you going?
It sounds like your School News Blog will be very well organised, I look forward to reading it and would be very interested to know how you are managing your groups.

Hi John,
We walked briskly for about 40 minutes – next time we’ll try for an hour! We’re doing it mostly for the enjoyment. It was lovely to get out and about – we’re lucky to be so close to so much ‘greenery’!
Our School News Blog is now ‘live’. It’s an experiment that just might work. We’ll have an ‘induction’ period, then they’re in charge. The aim is for a Friday posting each week.
