We used our new lg shine camera today to take some pictures around the school ….. check them out - they’re great - and we don’t even know very much about taking photos!
Next week John is coming in to school to talk to us about taking pictures for our new Photo a Day for Schools project. We’re going to show him our new camera phone!

Hello, yesterday we all saw the new phone called lg shine. The first impression I thought of was it was so shiny.
Its scroll is really cool because I don’t think there is another phone with a scroll like that. Its ringtones are really cool because you can get a whole load of new ones. It has groovy wallpaper that you can get to make the phone even cooler. I hope I can get that phone.’

The LG Shine is a good phone and it is very good looking. It is the next best phone after the Chocolate and it has a built in MP3 player. It has a camera, it does videos and much, much more. So get your self an LG Shine today and experience its greatfulness. When the screen is off it is like a mirror which is good for girls putting on make up or something.
Awesome News!!

We did it!! Thank you LG Shine !! The phone looks fanastic!! I’m sure that P7V will really enjoy reviewing it for you. Thank you too, to Tom Barrett for giving us the idea! ….. and thank you to Brian (son number 3) for the great photographs!
Primary 7V are on their mid-term break, but I know that they’ll love examining the new camera phone. It also records videos and is an mp3 player, too! It has so many other attributes, too. I’ll let the pupils play around with it on Tuesday when we return to school - I know they’ll be much more ‘clued in’ than I am about such things.
It will be great fun reviewing the phone. We’ll take some pictures for our photo a day project , we could try making a podcast …………. and if anyone reading this knows of someone famous that we could telephone, please let us know!!
Watch this space (and our wikispaces) for the ‘reviews’ of our new phone!

A Very Exciting Week!
February 11, 2007We’ve had a VERY exciting, ‘action - packed’ week at school!

This is is on our weekly walk. We chose this picture for the project. you can read all about it on the Photo A Day Blog which has taken the place of our School News Blog …… there was not enough time to do both! The Primary 7 pupils are running the photo a day blog themselves. Please pay them a visit and leave some comments on their photos. You can get there by clicking on the Photo A Day page above.
We are learning about what life was like during World War 2. We are going to make Anderson Shelters. Miss Goodsir and Mrs Vass asked us to choose our equipment and we will make them next week. Miss Goodsir has been saving up ‘junk’ material for us to use!
